#23 Summary - THE END!!!!!!

Well ive finally got the end - yipee!!! I must say that this course has definately opened my eyes up to many wonderful web tools availabe (the majority of I had never heard of). I know that as time goes on we will be using more and more of these tools and need to understand them, because our borrowers will expect this of us! My favourite was "Library Thing" and really did not enjoy "PB Wiki", but some things are never easy!! ...

# 22 Audiobooks

Downloadable "eaudio-books" are said to becoming extremely popular. And I can see why, in our world of busy lifestyles eaudios are a great alternative for the time-poor. It would be wonderful if our library service could subscripe to the services offered to purchase audio files for our borrowers to then download onto their MP3's. Im sure that will be a direction we will be heading towards in the near future.

#21 Podcasts

There are 1000's of different podcasts you can choose from, covering just about everything. And thats probably the best part, you can choose to listen to what interests you. I have several "fitness" podcasts that I use on my ipod at home. And its very handy and free!!
I looked at the directory podcastalley.com, did some library related searches. The other two directories mentioned I was unable to access.

This site is endless, so much to look at. I like video tutorials, for many people this would be a popular way of learning things, rather than reading a text.
I looked at lots of different things from chihauhaus to my favourtie TV shows.

#19 Web 2.0 Awards

I checked out some book sites - nanny's web, a local bookseller of secondhand books & also a vintage cookbook site. I wanted to make some purchases!!

#18 Online Productivity

Web-based applications eliminate the need to worry about different software versions or file types as you email documents or move from P.C to P.C. Zoho writer is a very easy to use free online word processor. I had no problems creating a document using Zoho writer. Zoho Writer is quite impressive, can be used from any internet terminal and very easy to use.

#17 Playing around with PBWIKi

FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!! Ok ive tried, really tried but im getting no where fast! I cant login in to enter my blog on the favourites page.
So im passing this weeks task, will try again if time permits at the end. If anyone has any tips please let me know.
